Fail we did. We were "out of the box", individual, tied by our training course. And all new we followed new leaders and went forward with speed.

The thrill and excitement of setting up a system to earn money on the internet is nothing short of the best challenge to come across.

When we were involved in “proof of concept”, never thought for a moment that we’d fail.

Fail we did.

We were “out of the box”, individual, tied by our training course. And all new we followed new leaders and went forward with speed.

Every conceivable background.

Used every method. A dozen of us. The cream rose to the top, and a split in half was made to the rest (to hedge their bets). Many meetings, and much work by the drones. Eventually there was mutiny and we abandoned ship. Left with my good name.

Oh, but I learned much by the work (online set up and writing) and even more by what really happened. Lost the wind in our sails, at odds, tossed about, without clear vision. Understandable, when you realize the leader is You. That means right here, right now, in charge of self.

Finding yourself on dry dock?

Maybe your gears are found in your watch, or your bike, a car, a locomotive or even a rocket. Maybe you’re at home with a simple manual grinder…whatever resources you have at hand are what you have to work with…that’s fine. Work it today, while developing your vision.

Sucked into many funnels, many went on to take course after course. Others went on to create their own product. Now the funnel is the product, we are told. However, each gear wheel must be solid.

Making money is good when all the gears to fit together perfectly. Simple, to start. Oil, to keep it going. Clean, to keep the sand out of the gears. The power = your passion, oil = $, clean = clear, so not to grind to a halt.

Who you go into business with is important. Understanding how it works by doing, is how to begin. After that, you become Overseer.

One gear wheel is learning sales, and you receive that education by being in the workforce with purpose.

The lesson I learned when our enterprise flat-lined was that speed without control is nothing. Systematic Marketing is a simple machine that works.

Reflection on my broken funnel is replaced by new drive. You’ll win because of a mindset shift.

In real life a "sucker punch" can get you down for the count. That's when you lay there flat on the mat looking up and seeing stars and wait for the count to end.

Down so long I don’t know which way is up (and I see stars).

Back when I was training in kick boxing we trained for one-and-a-half hours, three times a week and, we didn’t know it, but we were an experimental class. The trainers decided to put us through our paces and make it equal to military boot camp.

So by the end of a year we were throwing powerful punches and kicks, our balance had improved so much, and we were jumping like we had springs.

Remember Kill Bill? We could break your nose if you were even six inches close. Anyway, the trainers didn’t nail us alive into coffins and bury us in the ground to get out or die. In the end we just just kicked and broke a piece of wood.

We weren’t even allowed to spar yet, but our bodies “knew”. We built nerve pathways that weren’t there before…our tops and bottoms, right and left sides were “talking to each other”.

In real life a “sucker punch” can get you down for the count. That’s when you lay there flat on the mat looking up and seeing stars and wait for the count to end.

You can’t outsource everything in the beginning in online marketing.

And you can’t send someone else to go a round in the ring. But you need to condition yourself before a match is made. With the “words”, with dealing with people, with the world of sales.

Who has the funnel?

In business, he who has the funnel and a self-created product wins.

Have you committed the capital crime of marketing, which is running out of money to support your addiction to finding a way to making money online?

Have you committed the capital crime of marketing, which is running out of money to support your desire to finding a way to making money online?

I’ve been taught by the best, and they warned me about this. You’ve failed if you give up, but only if you give up your little business idea that you’d like to be a big success.

Trouble is, there’s the free way or the high way. Maybe an intelligent combination is best. Back when I had more time I fooled around and fell in love with this whole amazing online world that I stumbled into.

One way costs money and time, but I see my friends taking course after course…and as my contact Ciaran Doyle points out: you just need to implement what little you know and take it from there.

An ounce of “doing it” is better than a pound of learning how.

Free costs less in money, but I’m thinking it takes time anyway, even if you take an expensive course. There’s the overwhelm, ya know? Some never get pass the overload.

Now, back in the real world of paying your rent…your capital crime lands you right back in working for the man and being in chains again.

Plot your escape. At least now the money is rolling in to take care of the basics and you’ve found out what’s free and what’s not. Give yourself a break. It hasn’t even been 3 years yet, and in real bricks ‘n mortar business in the real world it takes failure that will be turned into blinding success!

Damn it. Publishing is the only way to go. I’m going to put it into an ebook for real. I love free. That is my passion.

Convert capital crime into capital…that’s it, that’s all.

Everything you EVER wanted to know about mobile phones is here.

It all started with radio phones.

Anyway, Don’t Lock My Freedom talks about locked cell phones, which you may not realize you have.

Did you know there are not quite 2 billion online computer users compared to nearly 5 billion cell phone users?

And that one in 10 cell phones is secret? For various reasons

Cell phone etiquette:

be nice and clean

be quiet

keep a business ringtone

get approval for texting

pay attention

tell you’re using a cell

One fifth of US has no landline. RIP, mine was finally let go yesterday.

Looking into setting up a Skype number, since my internet speed is twice as fast now.

For mobile marketing use AWeber autoresponder trial $1 to get opt-in templates that acts as a mobile capture page.

Use OfferMobi and SponserMob

So funny: you don’t need a cell phone to do it!

I hate webinars. This is part of the funnel that I positvely hate. Problem is, I already like Leonardo. This, my friends, is where the passion begins: people.

Sometimes online marketing passion turns out to be a surprise. And it doesn’t exactly come in a format that fosters trust. Kind of like a fortune cookie.

An auto telephone call starts the funnel and you have a moment so you answer.

Ooohhh…it’s interactive so you start pressing buttons, a little further down the funnel, and you’re waiting. The voiceovers are pretty good, and you pretend “what if it were my funnel, is it good?”

You leave your name and telephone number, then forget it.

The next day you get a phone call from a nice Cuban called “Leonardo” and he’s connected with the auto dialing software that you forgot about. I really ought to just pay this month’s $27 on my own auto dialer. It’s not much.

I love the way he starts off: he finds something flattering to say about you from the message you left.

We talk and he gives me a website.

The website was slick = boring.

But I like Leonardo.

He calls me and leaves a message the next day. I find it but don’t call. He calls me later and I pick up.

We talk and he finds out that I don’t love it, and I’m divided. He’s really good about asking why…and I’m sucked a little further down the funnel to listen to a webinar tonight.

I hate webinars. This is part of the funnel that I positively hate. Problem is, I already like Leonardo.

This, my friends, is where the passion begins: people.

At this point I don’t even care that it’s a gifting, one-up system.

However secure you feel in your job, feelings are not facts

Your name remains and may be built on, job or no

People do business with people, not corporations

Foundation in marketing is in relationships

There is honour that may be brought or restored in your name

The corporation will not pay you what your name is worth

Untold riches, both spiritual and material, lie in the potential of your name

I got 2 kisses from Johnny Peller (Peller Estates Winery) at our elementary school reunion last last year…

That day I was a mess…forgot to shower, my hair iron wasn’t turned on. But I just wanted to be there for my friend who was so excited about it for a couple years leading up to the event.

I moved back to Hamilton ON from Vancouver BC the year before and she was all excited about the reunion!

She told me she still had a crush on him since grade 4.

John was a popular boy, but I liked his red-haired friend.

Him and the red-haired boy, Donald, had to check our homework for a week when my really embarrassing note (which was intercepted on its way to Barb) was read out loud at the front by the teacher .

Seems like a long time ago. Or just yesterday, not sure which.

Anyway, should have said something to him so he could “place” me. We chatted with him and his brother Jim in the auditorium (but I got my kisses in the doorway). And then we were too shy, when we came back after freaking out from touring the school and seeing how small everything was on the kindergarten side.

Barb told me later how she was so love-sick (10?) and she was walking up his long winding driveway to catch a glimpse of Johnny but he came at her like a bat out-of-hell on his bicycle to run her off his property!

hahahaha! Sorry, it was really was heart-breaking but the way she tells it is funny.

But you’ve got to make it personality rich. Focus on the 2 highest payoffs. Ask yourself a question: are you constantly checking your out-of-the-way traplines or are you setting up where the rabbits are running?

One Man Band Marketing is a bad idea.

Mark Hoverson, successful entrepreneur, talks about making money using automation, synchronicity, direct marketing.

Low paying activities: email, surfing, telephone

High paying activities: 1) building your personal brand 2) teaching your team to thrive

Probably not a good idea to do everything yourself. If you’re new to internet marketing (who isn’t? Tools that were not there 5 years ago are here now, free or cheap) and if you don’t have a mentor you haven’t got a clue.

I’ll attest to that.

But you’ve got to make it personality rich.

Focus on the 2 highest payoffs.

Ask yourself a question: are you constantly checking your out-of-the-way traplines or are you setting up where the rabbits are running?

Or looked at another way…you can be a megalomaniac or delegate the work.

Would-be successful entrepreneur: outsource and leverage. Look to your sphere of influence, and see who would like to work for you…and even like to be mentored a bit because you’re just ahead of them.

The more you can direct other people the more money you’ll make.

Motivation is great, but meaning is what will get you through the barrier.

To recap: start the morning making a video (which is your seed) and then get it out to Traffic Geyser and Tube Mogel and YouTube. So says Mark who is ever so sharp and successful.

Ken Roberts is a Counter Intuitive Marketer. Notice his disclaimer: YOU CAN LOSE A LOT OF MONEY. But if you want to do commodity trading you will completely ignore the rather lengthy disclaimer. And I am what is called a “lay down” sale. Told you this blog was painful.

Now, in Canada the roads are not paved in gold (as my Chinese friends were told before they emigrated here). In fact it may only be paved in gold by the new immigrants that have so much drive.

The people born here, even the so-called ‘poor’ among us are doing fine. We don’t realize it, of course, even when we’re told. I could have been rich many times over by now if not for my middle-class upbringing.

It’s not that my parents did something wrong, it’s just that as soon as we’re doing well, collectively, we become high-minded. Sad, but true. I have so much stuff, and even collect more and buy more. Sure, I help others…and maybe that’s what it’s all about.

An apple tree grows in South Western Ontario. Many fruit trees grow, and vines…it’s a land of milk and honey to be sure. I’m grateful, and I just want to say: Wow. This particular little piece of land is tended by God: the sun shines, the rain falls, the wheat (& everything else) grows.

I’m grateful.

Did you ever notice that there’s way too much, when it comes to God?
